Fospice is a blend of foster and hospice care, giving senior, terminally ill, and medically fragile dogs a loving home for whatever time they have left.
What is a Broken Biscuit?
A Broken Biscuit is the senior, hospice, or medically fragile dog others overlook—the cancer patient still wagging their tail, the blind dog learning to trust again, the old soul who simply needs someone to stay. They may be fragile. They may be imperfect. But they are always worthy of love.

The Heart Behind Our Logo
The face of the House of Broken Biscuits belongs to Capucine.
Capucine was more than a rescue dog and she was the heart of Maison Sûre Foundation.
Tiny, imperfect, resilient, and endlessly lovable, Capucine embodied everything we stand for. She was the dog that many would have overlooked. The dog with medical needs, quirks, and challenges. The dog who reminded us that worth is not measured by perfection, but by the love a soul has to give.
Though Capucine is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in every dog who enters our care.
The House of Broken Biscuits logo was created in her honor. The broken biscuit represents the dogs the world may see as damaged, discarded, or less than perfect. But at Maison Sûre, we know better. We know that the most extraordinary dogs are often the ones with the deepest scars and the biggest hearts.
Capucine was the very definition of a "Broken Biscuit,” a little worn around the edges, wonderfully unique, and completely unforgettable.
Today, her image serves as a reminder of our mission and our promise: that every senior, hospice, and medically fragile dog deserves safety, dignity, comfort, and unconditional love.
This house was built for dogs like Capucine.
