Success Stories
At Maison Sûre Foundation, many of the dogs who come into our care need more than just a home, they need
medical intervention, healing, and a second chance at life!
Our success stories are built on the cases others might turn away: the surgeries, the long recoveries, the critical care, and the unwavering commitment to see each dog through. These are the moments where compassion meets action, where a diagnosis turns into a plan, and a fragile life turns into a thriving one.
This page is dedicated to the dogs who fought through it all and came out the other side, stronger, healthier, and finally home. From complex medical cases to long-term rehabilitation, each story is a testament to what’s possible when a community comes together to say, “you’re worth saving.”
Because at Maison, success isn’t just adoption, it’s healing, resilience, and a life restored.
Harley
After 12 years, Harley was returned to the same shelter she was adopted from but this time as a senior with a massive untreated growth that had once been a small mass her adopters had agreed to remove, but never did. Overlooked and at risk, her future was uncertain.
We stepped in and brought Harley to safety. Despite everything, she remained incredibly sweet and trusting. A CT scan revealed the mass could be cancerous, but we moved forward with surgery to give her a chance. The mass weighed 20 pounds and in an incredible turn of events, it came back benign.
From that moment on, Harley blossomed. Free from the weight she had carried for so long, she began running, playing, and embracing life again.
And in the most perfect ending, her fosters fell in love and made it official. Harley is finally home, where she always belonged.
